How do I fix my dvd player?

I got an AWA dvd player and when I clip open, it doesn't. I wait for ages just to open it. How do i fix this?

use a dvd cleaning disk from any shop even quid shop types are good
if it still does it then some of the dvd players do take a while to slow down before they eject
my panasonic takes up to 30 seconds
