Why is there water left in the drawer after the wash?

After the wash has finished there is water left in the central " softner " compartment of the powder drawer of my Beko washing machine. Why is this? Also, even though the " time saver " button is pressed the wash still takes nearly 2 hours!!! This cannot be right surely, can it?

lift the plastic bit out of the softner compartment and clean the hole and tubes out underneath.could also be a blocked conveyor which is the bit with holes in above the conditioner compartment.the wash time is correct. wash cycles are 2 to 3 hours long now.thats how they get there 'A' class ratings.low water, low electric but long wash cycle unfortunatly.
