Bosch Exxcel Dishwsher Programme stuck?

When swirched on the dispaly shows the remaining minutes. This doesn't reeduce and the machine seems to be trying to empty - and doesn't move on. Have tried to "reboot" but to no avail. Any ideas?

I have exactly the same problem just happened with a Bosch Logixx - reading elsewhere it seems this is a symptom of a failed heating element.
