velux window leaking - glazed unit seals degraded?

The velux windows GGL-3 028FIC82 (in my garden office appear to be leaking. The frames are fine but the external ( black rubber/plastic) seals around the glaxed unit are degrading. New glazed units can be obtained from Velux (code IPL4100059C ) How easy are these to fit? or is there a way of replacing the seals? ie a type of putty?

The loft shop recommended getting new windows but I can't afford this at present and it seems a bit excessive. Do I need a glazier or a roofer!!? Twickenham area. If anyone out there can advise I will be very grateful.

The seals on my velux windows must be broken as there is condensation in between the double glazing. Can I repair this myself?

ct1 the unique sealant and construction adhesive is the answer. can be applied in wet conditions and has fantastic adhesion on rubber, plastic.wood, stone almost anything.ct1 will both seal and bond the seal around the window.
