I put the CD in the player and it continues to flash
"load" over and over again until it spits the CD out.
Tried to use a CD cleaner to see if that was the problem but CD player does the error message also and then spits it out.
my 2005 Toyota Camry also has the same issue. I purchased an used CD player from ebay and installed it, but the problem still exist. Don't know the audio system I bought is wrong either or it is caused by other issues.

Try using a can of compressed air but be gentle when you press on the trigger because if you hold the trigger for too long the liquid from the can might damage the unit permanently.

having the same problem with my 97. i don't know much about toyotas but i think the eye might be dirty or scratched
