Zanussi upright freezer model 3500 works very well but motor is very noisy?

Is there anything I can do to reduce the screechy, high pitched noise of the motor?
Apart from the nuisance of this, the freezer works well.

no fix for noisy compressors other than replacing them which is nearly as costly as replacing it.put up with the noise if I was you for now!
