zanussi fls1183 w?

how do i change a heating element on a zanussi fls1183 w washing machine and is the a thermostat

Yes there is a thermostat and to get the element out you need lid off.back half of cabinet off (splits down the middle side panels).remove wiring from element and then release the 10mm nut in the centre of the element.when its loose prise the element out with a screwdriver.refit in reverse.make sure when fitting the new element that it goes into the support holder inside the tub.shine a torch into hole were element came out and you will see what I mean.Thermostats very rarely go wrong!
