Zanussi DWS 939 will not empty?

I have a Zanussi DWS 939 and it will not empty. After the last wash cycle water was left inside the machine and now when I start a new wash cycle it will not empty as the first function of the wash cycle. The motor runs ok , any suggestions ?

I have a similar problem. it is intermittent.
It pumps out with gusto. But not always.
It has a new pump. So fins OK !
Told it was the timer. Changed it. No different.
I think there is a diverting valve solonoid operated that my be the problem.
I hate this poke and hope.

the impellor on the circulation pump motor breaks the fins off and stops it from pumping.a new circulation pump or an impellor kit will be required.drop the drain hose on to the floor and it should gravity drain or let the machine start to drain and slowly lower the drain hose lower and lower over a bowl until you find the height the pump will expell water.if at a low possition it drains this is a sure sign the circ pump fins have broken off.
