Hi, the water won't drain in my Kenmore Ultra Fabirc Care 80 Heavy Duty Washer.

I tried restarting the cycle and It won't fill either.

I am very mechanical, do you have a solution?

If the water pump needs replacing what is the cost of the part?

How much should the entire repair including parts cost if I can't do it myself?

What sound do you hear when the washer is supposed to be draining? Does the washer just go dead when you put it in the drain/spin mode?
