My emachines 420 PC has lost both of my CD drivers (the CD-RW one is the original, the DVD drive is a new one a friend put in a few years back)
both of them have disappeared from my devices, neither of them open or do anything really.

Any suggestions?

I've already deleted all of my CD burning programmes, tried a system restore (to several points where i know it was working)
