The 'test' programme runs to completion, then repeats itself?

hotpoint ultima. super silent. test prog keeps defaulting to on. cant get it off. everything else appears ok?

just found cure!
to stop TEST- hold down START/CANCEL button until TEST goes off screen. Then hold down START/CANCEL & ON/OFF at the same time for a few seconds.
A message d:off should appear on the screen then everything should then work. Good luck, Dave.
