HOTPOINT WMA30?

Has anyone got instructions on how you replace the drum on a wma30 washer as the bearings have gone
Kevin, September 2004
Hi everyone: The call out charge and first half hour labour from Hotpoin is around £80. The cost of doing the job yourself will be around £35 this will cover the bearings, spider and tub seal these can be bought online from ezee-fix.co.uk. the job itself is stright forward enough and only takes a bit of common sense that is if there is no damage to the outer tub in other words if you have caught it early enough by all means have a go if there is a lot of movement on the drum and it is catching the outer tub call in Hotpoint if they do the job it will be covered for twelve months for the job and three months for the whole washer details are available from the Hotpoint sight

Contact Hotpoint service and claim the five year parts guarantee, you just pay the fixed labour charge which will be less than the price you would have to pay to buy the tub/drum assembly if you could fit it yourself.

Hi Kevin
If you find out can you let me know. I have to do the same, the machine is less than 2 1/2 years old. Not very good I think
