please can you tell me how to find the pump on my washing machine and what it looks like. the red light came on which says clean pump now it will not start

follow the drain hose back into your machine remove the lower rear panel should then see the drain pump two versions of pump depends on machine maker some pumps are electric, the other is belt driven will be able to tell instantly which one is fitted
