I have a 2000 Renault Scenic and replaced the battery last week. I have the security code and the handbook instructions. The display does not move beyond CODE and I cannot get to the point where 0000 is displayed. Can you suggest a fix?

when the word code is on the radio wait 5 minutes it will then go to 0000 then with the remote radio control on the steering column on the lower part of the control is button press it will flash a 0 press it again and it will move to the next 0 on the back of the control is a little roller bar roll it and this will put a number into the flashing 0 carry on until all 0 have your number on the last flashing number hold the lower button in and your radio will comr on
