slow draining water?

my bathroom basin seems to be blocked / slightly blocked as the water takes a while to drain. i have used various "mr muscle" type products over a period of time but nothing seems to make any difference - the water is still slow in draining away. i have also used a plunger on several occasions but this also has not made any difference... any suggestions would be welcome!!

remove trap and see if blocked other wise there is blockadge somewhere in pipe. inspect where excessable or use hand operated spring coil machine can be bought from usefull tool supplier like screwfix.com or plumber merchant is not expensive.

roll sleeves up and remove the u bend will be clogged up with hairs soap scrud etc.Replace with a 1-1/4" bottle trap for easier and quicker cleaning.
If a bottle trap is fitted you just undo the base off while holding a small container under to catch the small amount of spillage, (only do this with a empty sink of course)
