the hour hand has slipped on the shaft(friction fit)
the easy way is allow the clock to strike the hour, COUNT THE NUMBER OF STRIKES now gently move the hour hand round via the shortest way to the number of strikes indicated. Now gently press the finger back onto the spindle shaft job done.
