the top screen of my ds doesnt show the game it just shows a whole mess of colors but sometimes it works when i hit it hard in the back

sounds like the cable connecting the screen is loose google top screen replacement ona ds lite and you can get instructions on how to take the ds apart check the connector is in tight and see if it works if not you can get a new screen of ebay for about £10 they are very easy to replace i have done a couple myself
