I've had that somehow two programmes got joined together into one corrupt programme.

Before v2.88 you could switch to Synopsis and scroll down to the corrupt recording and delete it. Then put the box into standby and if it was not recording, unplug the mains power for 30 seconds. While the amber LED is on, a green LED flashes as the disk is checked.

V2.88 is similar, but you have to move to the corrupt recording and hit blue (Delete), then green (Yes) very quickly, then the box will likely get stuck, but I found the corrupt programme went after the power cycle.

You can format the HDD, but lose all the HDD data (recordings, etc. ) On the Help menu, press green and the request Format HDD is one of the coloured buttons, after cycling the power the HDD should be formatted.

HDD = hard-disk drive

DV3 isn't a model nor in fact is it DV3 but is the DVB (Digital Video Broadcasting) logo and so without the model it is difficult to help.

However have you looked that error in the manual or if you do not have a manual downloaded it from the Thomson Web site?
