When 'My computer' opens it has icons - how can I convert these to a list in view on the Menu bar? I am using Windows XP 2.

Click on 'View' in the menu bar and a list will drop down giving you the options of type of display. As well as - 'Icons', 'Tiles', and 'Detail', you will find 'List'. Click on 'List' and the icons will convert to list view. If you Click on 'Detail' it will list but with file size date modified etc. Hope this helps.
