my computer was restored using emachine restore disk how can i get my old picture that was in there before it was restored

Assuming when asked if you wished to format the disk you answered yes, then I am afraid that you can't They have been erased.

The Restore instructions always tell one to backup any personal data before performing a recovery.

Having said that there are (expensive) companies that can retrieve data but if the files have been overwritten even they will not be able to recover them.
