noisy pipes?

whenever i flush the toilet or use a tap in the house the pipes will start to make a noise (like a whistling sound)as the system starts to fill up.. The noise is coming from the pipes in the wall in the bathroom which is near the tank in the loft

If pipes not viabrating than it a tank filling up makes noise when you have part one ball valve in the coldwater tank.
Try changing to part 2 ball valve in the cold tank will reduce noise.

The supply pipes should not be held tight. Make sure the supports for the pipes can let them move a bit.
