How can I fix my Bosch 1200 Classic washing machine?

The section you put the conditioner in holds water. Why is this??

Like mine, the centre holes above the tray are blocked so only a little bit of water gets into the tray. Not enough to activate it's siphon function. See other tips concerning fixing blocked fabric softener tray
