how can i fix sky plus box the remote wont work. its controling volume ok and when i manually use box when im pausing recording or playing the display is flashing
Cannot get Sky + to come on , remote is ok as it will turn on the TV , and when i did manage to get it on , the message came up Sky + error facility not available , but it was ok in the afternoon can you help

can anyone tell me why at about 11pm the sky box will suddenly take over and start changing channel, deleting my recorded programmes and generally making my viewing time a night mare, the subtitles will suddenly activate itself and i find myself sitting with remote in my hand getting ready to change everything back and to prevent it turning over. thought it was a problem with other people in the area having sky aswell......can anone help

Have you tried to update software on box. Put box in standby, press and hold back-up button, un-plug mains lead , put mains lead back in while still holding back-up. Should get all led's light up on front panel and screen " updating system software". Let the download finish, box will go into standby, then power up. If it does not respond via remote, it may well be the infra red receiver in the sky box. Try another remote to rule out handset fault.
