my hotpoint "first edition"wont go to full spin speed?

My Hotpoint 800 first edition goes round and washes then drains but will no longer go to full spin speed.Is it the control module thats faulty?

we have same problem it washes but does not do last spin we phoned hotpoint as we get f-08 on the one we have and thay seid it was the circuit boards
