how to fix my washer hotpoint wms38?

the module on my hotpoint washer wms38 had blown. so i got another one and changed it. it was identical to the original one. now i put it back together and getting no motor action what so ever. the module i put in was working on another machine becase i tested it befor i bought it.could you tell me my problem.i know its not the motor or the brushes.

Are you happy the you have connected the wires correctly to the control module I thought when I took the off the control panel that the connectors were keyed and could not go back incorrectly perhaps you can help me if you are happy with the connection positions you can answer my question or e-mail me on jbreynolds@eircom.net

Hi Anthony. Take off the Front console (3 screws by draw) Take off the 4 screws for the front pannel (2 screws are behind the kick strip to be removed) 2 screws for the door lock & remove the plastic clip for holding the door seal in place & take the door seal off the pannel. Lift the front pannel up wards to take off. The Problem might be the motor wiring harness (wight cables x 8 depending on speed of motor ) chaffing on the concreate weight. Repair with butt conectors & reassemble.
