I think my Kenmore model 148.13101 has problems with the top thread missing the spool guard. I am missing a piece that slipped over the post; the thread tends to wind around the post under the spool of thread. This causes the machine to break thread. Any ideas how to fix or where to find a replacement part? Thank you

Hello Brenda,
Usually if this happens it is on small reels of thread where there is no felt under the pin ot the machine not threaded properly.
