HP M425 Digital Camera?

The lens on my digital camera HP M425 wont go back into camera - any suggestions, thanks

When the camera is turned off, the lens does not completely retract, and remains in the extended position.
Try the first solution below to resolve this issue. If the issue is not resolved, try the next solution.
Solution one: Remove memory card and turn camera on and off

1.
If a memory card is installed in the camera, remove the memory card from the camera.
2.
Turn the camera off and then back on.
If the lens remains extended, continue to the next solution.

Solution two: Check the batteries
Use batteries that have been fully charged or if using non-rechargeable batteries, make sure that they are known to be good batteries. Whenever possible, new batteries are recommended.

Cause

*
The camera was turned off abruptly.
*
There is a corrupt image on the internal memory or on a memory card installed in the camera.
*
An incompatible or defective memory card is used.
*
There is debris in the lens, the camera was dropped, or the lens is defective.
