system drain down?

i want to drain down baxi bermuda back boiler and rads to fit new trv's. no drain vavles on rads. where would the main drain down point be

THERE IS USUALLY 1 FITTED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE CHIMNEY BREAST TO THE SIDE OF THE BACK BOILER, KNOCK EITHER OF THE CHIMMNEY BREAST IF THERE IS ANY WOOD PANNELLING REMOVE IT AND HAVE A BUTCHERS THERE.

thanks for the swift reply john. all the pipes are buried in the floor. could there be a drain off under the fire itself. steve

The main drain off cock will be somewhere on the lowest pipe on the system - there's normally a hose pipe connection. However, if you cant find it, choose the lowest radiator in the house, disconnect a valve from the radiator and go from there. Messy and time consuming though.
