Kenmore Series 80 (Whirlpool built) won't drain or spin?

Please help.
After an unbalanced load yesterday the thing won't drain or spin. It gets a little ways through the agitiation on the rinse cycle then quits and does nothing. What needs to be fixed Please?

check the pump for blockages, could be a sock blocking it. It wont spin untill the water has emptied.
