40 c light keeps flashing

This is a fault on the water load solenoid valve, according to the manual (it's one of the listed ones).

It continues by suggesting that if you turn the machine off for a minute it might resolve itself. Otherwise I suppose you'll have to find out what the water load solenoid is, and fix it. In my case the fault has cleared itself (so far).

try the filter inside the machine sometimes pieces of fool gets stuck in ther and causes the 40c light to flash
