connecting my laptop to the internet?

my laptop says internet exployer cannot display the webpage even though it is perfectly connected to mt bt homehub,bt have checked the connection and it is fine,my laptop is a futjie siemens,and my windows is xp.my mate has had it connected at his house,it worked perfectly for 6 months then wouldnt connect,any ideas.

Hi Tommy, go to the wireless connections page and see what comes up, if the computer is trying to connect to Skybox or some other wireless connection use the drop down box to locate BT and then click on connect

Have you unticked "Work offline" from the browser menu. If you are online and connceted and this is ticked it may show na offline page making you think you are not connected.
