Mira Supreme 8.4 electric shower repair?

My Mira Supreme 8.4 electric shower has started tripping the circuit breaker every time we try to switch it on.

Replacement Mira models are smaller, so involve re-tiling.

Any advice as to chances of repairing the Supreme please?

Norma have you still got the Mira supreme shower? i could use the spares for mine - which has just gone! i expect its too late now.

I'm planning to replace my mira supreme 8-4 shower. It seems to be working ok but I'm worried about it's safety so haven't used it properly. Only recently moved here and whole house needs updating (1970's house). 2 questions:
What should I replace it with?
Does anyone want the old shower for parts?

The Shower Doctor have a list of spares for it, but whether they are all available (www.showerdoc.co.uk).
The first problem is how to diagnose.

I think you'll have real problems getting spares for this one, Peter - I had one to do last year and got nowhere.
