I have a Black & Decker electric hedgecutter which I have sliced through the wire, I have taken it apart, rewired the main cable and put it back together again as I thought it should be but it is not working. Can you help me on a diagram of how to put it back together. Many thanks

Did you check the fuse? Also you should be using an earth trip in the mains socket- did you reset it?
