how can i get my worcester oil heatslave 15/19 boiler to ignite?

my worcester oil heatslave boiler will not ignite. The power light is on but the lock out light is off. When I turn the heating or hot water on I can hear the pump running but the burner will not ignite. Can you help me please.

thanks John. I have pressed the re-set button but no difference to the problem of the burner not igniting. It will not ignite even if I press hot water or heating demand

If the burner shows no desire to start at all, then more than likely there is a faulty thermostat somewhere telling it not to.....is there a button marked reset on your boiler? Burner failure itself always manifests itself by the lockout lamp coming on. Power failure to the burner may also be caused by a PCB fault, behind the front panel.
