It just keeps clicking and the discs do not spin.

Mine had that problem. Turned out to need a new CD mech. From memory cost about £120 fitted.

Having the same problem! The CD's would not play and would not spin - it would say pause etc - went back to shop and they cleaned it and said that was the problem - got it back again and same thing was happening intermittently etc - then the spindle motor completely broke and a huge clunk was heard (not even had it a year!) These parts have been replaced and I am hoping that the pause syndrome was connected to the spindle motor just about to break - any ideas - haven't picked it back up from the shop yet - what parts are they recommending you change wayne?

Sometimes a good cleaning will help,but in most cases you need to have the CD mech. replaced.

Does it also say "CD pause"? Mine does when this happens. I have been told that I need to have parts replaced....
