Fisher & Paykel Intuitive code 43 error msg?

My washing machine alerted me to the error code 43, does anyone know what that means and how serious it is? thanks...

Thanks for this. Mine was a red and black wire but connected to oob on the control board. Mine seemed fine, checked the resistance and played with the plunger a bit and it seems to work.

Thanks for the info. Seems to be working well now. Switch was sticking very slightly, just enough to through it out.

Thank you so very much. It is the Christmas holidays here and my washing machine just came up with Code 43 error. After finding this site my husband and I have just fixed our washing machine to do all the Christmas washing which has piled up. Very grateful Aussie here.

I have just had the same error code and it is an out of balance switch. The switch is located under the grey module when you take the top cover off with yellow and white wires. It was jammed on because of corrosion or dirt. I checked it as Starcee had suggested with multimeter and it wasn't working. I found the plunger was jammed in and after prodding with a small screwdriver the dirt etc came loose and the plunger came out and worked on/off manually.I reinstalled and it now works fine. Thanks again Starcee

I have just had the same error code on my machine and confirm it is a faulty out of balance switch. The switch is located under the grey module when you take the top cover off. Mine was corroded this is a normally closed switch I check mine with multimeter and it wasn't working. Rather than buy a new switch I cleaned it by soaking in vinegar then flushing with water, once dry I reinstalled and it now works fine.

error code 43 means faulty out of balance switch & requires replacing.
