Turn off. Take all the stuff out the freezer trays etc. Pull off the back panel studs inside the freezer itself. Remove the panel and you can see the cooling elements and fan. These freezers go to pot every couple of years with the sensor getting totally encased in ice. Use a hairdryer and completely defrost the cooling elements, the wiring and copper piping...remove all ice but dont force it and dont touch anything. Put everything back turn on and bingo it will work for another couple of years. I,ve done this 3 times now. Cheers
