Zanussi Washing Machine?

My washing machine starts a cycle (I have tried all of them), but stops after 2 minutes. Individual functions such as spin and drain work but the wash one doesn't eventhough water is coming in. Any ideas?

The machine is diagnosing a fault and is stopping the machine for safety.could be anything but faulty motor/brushes or heater spring to mind.
