Hi,

I've had the aforementioned DVD Player for a while now. It's had lots of use, sometimes for extended periods, and now seems to be suffering.

If I insert a DVD - 99% of the time it will attempt to read the disc for about 20 seconds then display "No Disc" and naturally it doesn't play anything. I believe I can hear a motor or something attempting to get to speed, or trying repeatedly to do something then evidently failing entirely.
1% of the time a DVD will play - regardless of whether it's failed a few times or not.

CDs work fine

Any input would be greatly appreciated as I've no experience in troubleshooting hardware whatsoever!

Note, I have many DVDs and have attempted this with new / old / region 0, 1 & 2 discs and it all appears to me to be random!
