Any ideas on what could be wrong please it is only 3 months old but want to see if it may be something silly that I can solve myself before having to wait for a repair guy.

Today with about 15 minutes left of a 60 cotton wash the machine gave a thump and died (digital panel went off). I switched it of and tried restarting it again panel came back on showing the correct details till the end of cycle but as soon as door lock applied it died again. I have checked filters etc and all look okay so I know I probably will just have to be patient but thought I'd try here anyway.

only thing you can try with this is to plug it in to another socket just incase you have a fault one
