Yes you can fix it, just replace those 4 capacitors with bulging top. Very easy as its just a single layer board, no complications at all. Make an attempt, u don't loose anything... Just $ Australian Dollars ...

There are two blue parts in the high voltage section, one of them appears to be burned. Can anyone ID them for me?

it would be better to get these caps in higher voltages. it would last longer in case the same problem happens again in 2-3 years time.

go to radio shack buy four 272-1032c capasotors and replace them on your board labled cpasotors cs806,cm811.cm812 and cm817 very easy fix ..mine works grat now like new did it myself including soldering kit from radio shack for 32.00

replace the four (capasitors) Al Electrolytic Cap 105C 10V 1000uF that have blown from (rswww.com part No. 526-1115) rs now sell to the public cost under £2.00
make sure the capasitors go back the same way the (- strip) goes to the bold possition
(maplins only do 16v does work but would be best to use correct voltage)

change the resistor which you can buy from maplin it will cost you £2 in total and solder it on and and will solve your problem
