My clock will not keep ticking?

my grandfather clock will not keep ticking. I've replaced the weights and pendulum because the moving co. lost them. I had a clock repair person come out and oil the parts after the new parts were installed. Now the clock will not tick for more than 10-12 times. Before I moved my clock was working just fine. Can you advise what I can do to fix it?

BJ, you do not say how old your clock is. A clock can run for many years on the dirt that accumulates in it. When you move a clock it disturbs the dirt and reveals the wear. The clock repairman you called to oil it should have seen the wear. Also, did you get your parts from the manufacture? Each movement requires a specific weight and pendulum. I would call another reputable clock repairman out to look at it and give you an estimate.
