Why wont my HOTPOINT WM71 fill?

I have a hotpoint ultima 1000 WM71 and it doesnt want to fill up, what should I check , could the board be on its way out ?

make sure water taps are on 1st then check water vavles to see if water comin to them next disconnet hose from valve to soap draw for easy way to check valve is working
