how can i fix my sons laser pointer pen?

this is a kaleidoscope laser pen it cost around £40 unfortunately it was in my hands when it just decided to stop working it was not dropped or banged or otherwise misused can any one help please, or is it just dead ?

heyy, it has a little green thing inside it, (be carefull not to damage it) and a little wire has come loose , just push it back in!!, u r welcome :)
