How can i get my thomson digibox to turn on?!?

I have had the thomson digibox dti6300 for 6months and for the first time today it will not switch on. i have tried unplugging it and plugging it in and switching it off and on again but nothing seems to be working. I can hear the hardware trying to start up but all I can see are the red and green lights flashing, any ideas what the problem is?! or how to fix it?!

This fault is due to a broadcast issue which has led to a corrupt file being loaded onto the hard disk. For a solution paste the following address into your browser. Unfortunately you will lose all your recorded (library) files and will have to reprogram all your channel info etc.

unplug the box for 20sec. press and hold standby button on the box while plugging it back in. As soon as the amber light flashes let go and press up,down, left and right arrow keys in sequence 3 times. The amber light will stay on and the green light will start flashing. In approx 60 sec the box will turn on by itself.
