dyson fault message?

Overload Reduced Performance.
This appears even with small amount of washing inside. Worked fine in the UK but have now arrived in Australia and the machine was not used for 5 months whils in transit. All transit kit was fitted before the move. Is there a way I can release the tightness of the contra drums? Any Ideas would be appreciated as there are no engineers for this machine over here.
Thanks,
Bill

This does not meen that you need a drum replacement it may just need the gearbox removed and refitted, this will require an engineer and is not a repair that you should try yourself, if you know a good engineer with patience he could do this repair, it is a tricky repair. If you contact Dyson i am sure they would help in any way they can.

Not sure this answer will help, but it's some background info to your fault.

Had the same message on our CR01. It's a gearbox fault (both drums are locked together, you'll notice it works but the drums no longer contra-rotate). It's also much noisier than usual. Dyson engineers came out and fitted a complete new drum assembly free of charge. Their advice prior to the change was to run the machine on duvet mode, then it doesn't try to contra-rotate, still washes OK and won't give the error code
