How can I fix my Digital TV Recorder - Thomson DTI6300?

Does not record some programmes in particulary Match Of The Day but still shows as "recorded & saved" but only 30 mins in programme library, it also shows it taking up 78 hrs of disc time. On playback/fast forward no time bars are shown at bottom of screen & will eventually freeze up the picture. This has happened on numerous occasions. Anybody got any solutions ? Its a Thomson DTI6300

This fault is due to a broadcast issue which has led to a corrupt file being loaded onto the hard disk. For a solution paste the following address into your browser. Unfortunately you will lose all your recorded (library) files and will have to reprogram all your channel info etc.
