What can I do to get my machine to work please. It is a Thomson DTI 6300?

Just had the same problem as Sarah. It just suddenly switched off and now I can't turn it on. Another one in the family stopped working yesterday. Just what is going on??

This fault is due to a broadcast issue which has led to a corrupt file being loaded onto the hard disk. For a solution paste the following address into your browser. Unfortunately you will lose all your recorded (library) files and will have to reprogram all your channel info etc.

hi mine is a thomson but unsure of number at moment, had same problem, found hard drive not working restarted it but failed again, so fitted a spare 80 gig temp drive till i got a new 160 gig, make sure dip switch is set to cable select. hope this will fix yours. but be carefull if you open it.

I had exactly the same issue I went to the the following website http://www.topuptv.com/help+centre/setup+and+troubleshooting/#Fail+boot+up and found the section regarding the machine not working. I followed the instructions and it now works the only issue is I have lost all my recordings and planned recordings.
