Can I replace the rubber belt myself?

I have a Frister + Rossmann Model 45 Mark 2 machine which has been making a strange noise. I have oiled it but I also noticed that the belt looks a bit slack. Since I have a replacement belt that I bought, albeit many years ago, I assume that it is possible to fit it myself, but I can't see how to get the old one off and the new one on. I would be grateful for any help.

Hello Jenny,
You may need to take the top off the machine to get the belt on otherwise you can slacken the screw on the motor and drop the motor down until it is tight, you should have an orange neoprene belt on that machine.
