How can i fix my Thomson DTI6300?

My dtr will not turn on. I have a flashing orange light and thats it! It wont turn to red. How do i fix this?

This fault is due to a broadcast issue which has led to a corrupt file being loaded onto the hard disk. For a solution paste the following address into your browser. Unfortunately you will lose all your recorded (library) files and will have to reprogram all your channel info etc.

see TOPUPTV website (www.topuptv.com) there are instructions for resetting box; after 4 attempts my digi-box is now working properly again.

I have been trying for 3 days to fix ours and have finally done it.
Switch the box on and leave for a while then take the mains connector out of the back of the box and leave for more than 20 secs, then whilst re plugging in the mains connector, push the on/off button on the front of DTI repeatedly, once you see a light blip, then release your hold on the on/off button and quickly press the up/down/left/right arrows once(in that order), it went through a light sequence but then my amber light supenly turned to red, yippee! though we have lost all saved recordings and I have had to scan for channels agian.
